I just returned from a trip to British Columbia in my X5 with PDC. Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops. There was a tremendous snow storm. Traffic stopped for hours. I was driving through some 18" to 24" snow to try to get around the mess. The first time I maneuvered into a parking place my front signal was giving me a steady tone, meaning I'm against some object. There was nothing in front of me for 25', so I looked at my bumper and the sensors were covered with snow and that set it off continuously. I suggest you try taping areas you want to paint to find the sensitive areas. Once found, tape the areas you shoudn't paint and shoot the bumber. A little experimenting with tape should show you where the sensitive areas are.
Good luck.

Good luck.
