I plan to autocross my M5 in Super Stock. While this may be somewhat futile at the divisional and national level, it should be fun locally, and a few Z06 with less skilled drivers should hopefully get embarassed.
For those not familiar, the Stock classes in autocross allow very few modifications. One thing you can change is any of the exauhst BEHIND the catalytic converters.
My only considerations are weight, power, and price. The dinan system claims a 30lbs weight reduction. Does it replace the mufflers and resonators?
Do any other companies offer something like supersprint, which has the x-pipe and mufflers? Will the supersprint system save you 30lbs like the dinan system claims to?
any other options that will get me 5+hp and a nice weight drop? Anyone have some before/after dynos?
thanks for any info!

all aftermarket exhausts save about 30lbs or more of weight... the stock system is extremely heavy.... besides, nearly all the exhausts can use the supersprint x-pipes with it..

Hope this helps...
