Tubi exhaust system

Hey guys, I was looking through a magazine today in a magazine shop and I found a page talking about the Tubi style exhaust system and they had a website address in it so when I got home, I checked it out and I was able to find sound samples from the 360 Modena sport exhaust system called "Marmitta centro" and I was just in awe listening to it so I thought I'd share with everybody the address and it's www.tubistyle.it and you have to click in the news section to hear it. Have fun listening....

P.S. I was riding in my father's M5 the other day and while going up Hemlock street at the corner of 16th avenue, we saw a Titanium silver M5...could that be any of you guys?

Parkerfe from Atlanta ordered the Tubistyle last October or so, and I don't know if he's received it yet. There may be delays in getting ahold of same for the M5 application. There are some other members of this board with the Tubi installed, however.

If anyone has tubi installed, please let me know as that's the last thing I'm waiting for in my decision criteria. Any feedback is welcome (sounds are MOST appreciated.)

Thanks,

I never got mine and have now about decided to forget about it. After reading the recent Bimmer magazine article about the German tuner Nowack 500hp M5, there appears to be a lot less expensive ways to get more power that an aftermarket exhaust offers. The insulated airbox with snorkle intakes to the airfilters netted 20hp all for less than $100.00. Nowack claims it is the M5 headers that are the problem more so than the mufflers.

The M5 sound doesn't seem as important any more since I got my 348 Spider. After all, it is my daily driver and its quite exhaust is less tiring I suppose. Mayby I'll get a Tubi for the 348 instead.

I don't know about the 348, but the 355 sounds like a REAL race car (more so than the "civilized" 360). Throw a tubi on there and waaah-fwuup-waaaaah tursn into ROOOOOOOOOOOOWR-FWUUP-WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOWR!

Jet Black M5 in Van, that was me who you saw the other day. You flashed me with your highbeams right? I didn't see you until you flashed. Then, I saw it was a Black M5.

Hi Serge, yes it was us. I'm saying us because my father was driving and I told him to flash that Titanium Silver M5 that was going down Hemlock. I thought I'd post this sighting on here thinking that the owner would be on this board and now that I know it's you, well it's cool to have seen another M5 from this board. I've seen Alpywhite a couple of times but that was when my father owned a 528i or when I was riding my bike. We live in that area so watch out for us again as we drive there very often. (I may have seen you before on 16th avenue before). We should have a Vancouver meet sometime in the summer...
Good driving!

P.S. Are you french? (with the name Serge)
