"Best of" forum
Launched a "Best of" forum for the copying the best threads there from this location for easy access. I will start doing that. The work is much easier if you as a user come up with a suggestion of thread from this forum which I can copy there.
http://www.bmwm5.com/vbulletin/forum...?s=&forumid=42
Just post the link in this one and I'll copy it.
Thanks!
Gustav

hey Gustav,
can you put the best of forum on the top of the list above E60 forum? then it'll be much easier for people to see...
also, I see that forum is read only.. would it be better just to move all the topics over there with a redirect and let people post replies, but not make new topics? instead of having two seperate threads of the same topic.. people would be posting to there and also to the original thread.. that would kinda make it confusing...

Hi!
It's not possible to have just post replies. Just to post in general.
Also just redirects won't worj either so I'll just have to copy the interesting threads there.

Gustav, you have to put the rabbit turbo mod thread in there! It's one of the funniest thread ever.
And, the Alex thread.

How about Johann's threads in the M3 section on his upgrades? Or is the Best of M5 only?
I concur on the the turbo modification - hands down that is the funniest thread on the board (ok, Alex is darn funny too - put 'em both there)

... but when people continue to post to the threads in the regular forums, wouldn't the threads in the new forum not get updated with the new posts?
maybe we should just let people post to those forums then... but then remind them that no new threads are to be made, with a severe penalty for doing so....

Is there a way for us to have posts here automatically added to the other "best of site" forum?

atomic80, no. I guess in an upcoming version the can be linked.
I copied some. Most recently Gregs post about taking better pics.
Any more suggestions? Specifically good technical posts?
