how does dealer fix cocked steering wheel?

had an alignment done but now the steering wheel has to turned to the right for the car to go straight. i am bringing it back to dealer to fix problem. will they re-align my car or just adjust the tie rods by sight?

how do they fix a cocked steering wheel, or perhaps my car is mis-aligned. in any case, thanks everybody for any info on subject.

99.9% sure it's misaligned. don't they check this stuff before they call you to pick it up?

The alignment may be correct, but they didn't do the job right. They're supposed to center the wheel and settle the suspension before doing the adjustments. Bring it back and insist on them making this right. And because this means you had to make an extra trip to the shop, they should give you a loaner car or at least give you a free detail for your trouble.

Have the same prob

Had a lower tie rod go...caused a god-awful squeeking when i went around right hand turns. So they replaced it and did an alignment. I know that the car needed one because it was some what due for one, but it got worse when I got it back...have to steer about 3/4" to the left to go straight. Im just making a huge list for the dealer to complete when it goes in for the clutch.

Install Stainless Brake Lines
Flush Brake System, Refill with Super Blue
Clutch
Flywheel
Refill Trans with Super Blue
Realign the car
Paint is starting to flake on the right side of the front facia...what the heck is that?
