Wow! Nice job! Talk about a "mirror" finish; I suspect you'll be shaving in front of your hood tomorrow?

That is 3M Imperial Hand Glaze followed by 3M Perfect-it paste wax. Both are applied with an orbital polisher and buffed by hand. As far as I'm concerned this wax is as good or better than the Zymol and it is easier to apply.

We're having a little "wax-off" at my house Sat afternoon with Bobafett's black M5 and a friend's E55. The E55 guy believes he'll have delivery of some Zaino by then and we're all very curious to do some "A-B" tests. I will, of course, as your faithful and humble servant, keep y'all posted.

Although we had some rain last week, our weather has been great in Nor Cal. A few days this week were perfect and cloudless and a chilly 50 degrees (stop laughing, for us that is cold). Some of the best weather here is the winter when it isn't raining. There is no fog at the beaches (it moves to the inland valleys) and less smog.

I am trying Klasse next. It has a mild polish in it. I have used 3M and like it but Blitz One wax has had some areas of discoloration so I am looking to change.

Nikev -

Always glad to oblige. I did write a TT/M5 comparison a while back, which you can finds at http://www.bmwregistry.com/gregh/comparo - however I wonder if you didn't mean a comparison of shine. No contest - the Porsche is BLACK - the ultimate mirror car. Here are 3 pics - the one taken in the hood was a few months ago. The one in the door and the intercooler intake were just a few days ago:
