        Post BMW UK have updated their site

        BMW UK have updated their site and they've finally put some new pics of the '01 M5 up too...

        they've not been very careful writing up the new pages though - apparently the M5 has six individual throttle butterflies and 5000 NM of torque

        it must have pretty wide tyres to handle that much torque...

        They still make the 'Automatic M5' on the site too!! One of the road tests calls it an MS.

        The site also seems a lot slower than before - I suppose one of the downsides of having a 'flashier' site.

        When will they ever get the options list up to date - apart from BMW losing a lot of revenue through people not knowing items are available, WE have to trawl through all kinds of media to make sure we're getting the most up-to-date things. A classic example of this is the MiniDisc option instead of the cassette (does anyone still use cassettes?)

        Come on BMW GB, get with the programme!!

        Phew!!! Feel better after that......
