So, Young-NYC picked me up from the airport and and we lined up the rides and took some pics. Let me say, the lights on his car (car on the right) are AMAZING! Mine are horrible in comparison, and I have bi-xenons. Follow the link, plenty of pics.

The stage 2 lights are an awesome upgrade. I have had them for a while now and love them. The light is far superior to stock.

I feel compelled to point out that I think young-nyc mentioned to me that these bulbs of his were actually 7000k or was it 8000k bulbs so they're definitely more blue than the 6000k bulbs that most of us have upgraded to.

glowrider: Did you use a tripod to take these pictures? It looks like you didn't. Many of those pictures are too blurry. Try using a tripod or at least rest the camera on something solid. If neither is available then try holding the camera close to the center of your body mass and then hold your breath when taking a picture! That should help.

I have the stage II for the low beams and fogs. The upgrade is to 6000k. The OEM is 4300k. Go to the link to HIDS4less and they can give you all the great details.

I am very happy with the upgrade and I have had it for about a year. You can install it yourself in about an hour.

actually i think mine are between 6k and 7k
defintely doesn't give that "purplish" glow like the phillips 6k's

oh and let me add...glowrider has some stable in his garage...you BUM!!

I have to say, the brightest, bluest, clearest looking xeons that I have ever seen is on the new 7er. anyone know what type of bulbs they are using, and what is stock on the 5er, m5, m3, Z8, etc.....

I believe that the new 7er uses the same type of bulbs as all the rest. It's probably the way they designed the optics.
