Woo-hoo! Week #49

You guys are a very bad influence! I now have a confirmed production date for my '03 M5!! Truthfully, I have lee740i to thank (blame) for starting on this obsession.

I've been a participant here on the board for a bit more than a year, and have been lusting for a new beast for at least 6 months before that. And now I've finally pulled the trigger. This board has been an incredible learning tool, and I know I'll be much more prepared as a result. So thanks to all of you who've posted such a treasure trove of information.

Soooo... the details:
* Sterling Grey
* Black lux, Burr Walnut interior
* PDC
* M-audio
* Week 49 build date (Dec 6th)

Oh yeah, doing a Performance Center delivery. After hearing all the allocades about the place, esp. Bart Carter's delivery, it was an easy choice. Plus, I'll take delivery in the middle of Winter and I'd rather keep it out of the crud.

M5Manny came through in a big way getting me an allocation. He was able to do in less than 10 minutes what my local dealer has not able to do for a year! Thanks Manny!

You just aren't going to believe it when you finally get it. I know the excitement is unbearable now. Problem is, it apparently never goes away, long after delivery. The performance delivery and the M5 driving experience at the center are also unforgetable.

It's always my pleasure to help one of my fellow M5 guys (and girls) out. I'm just glad I had the allocation to fill your order. Once again, thanks for your business and I'll be speaking to you as time gets closer.

You go through phases with the beast. I am now closing in on a year with my '02 and love it more now vs. when I first got it (got even better after the M5 Driving Experience).

Doug! Way cool! Come down to our dyno meet 11-16 in Hanover and you can get even more jazzed when you watch the cars pull 340 hp at the rear wheels!

Your color choices will be beautiful!

Bill
