Boy does time fly! It's hard to believe my Avus Blue / Silverstone with titanium beast is now 3 years old this month. (Sorry, I can't add - had 4 year warranty on my mind). With 28k miles on her now, it sure has been fun. My wife said this is probably the longest I have owned any car that she can remember. I usually traded every year or two in the past but I can't stop loving this car!
Whats really funny now is that I still have the universal garage door opener sitting in my glove box ready to install in the overhead (hey, I'll get around to it
). I never did it back then because the dealer couldn't find me an Alcantara part# for the panel and I just got used to my Stanley in the door bin.
And maybe before year 5 I'll hardwire the Valentine too. I remember I used to do stuff like this in week one with a new car. Maybe I'm the one who's really getting old here?
I'll be tempted with the new V10 for sure, but so far there's just nothing on the horizon that would make me part with my blue M5. Geeesh, hows that for a testimonial...
