        anybody tried hamann header system?

the price i got was $6800. they said with the dinan stage 3(software@cai) i already have, it should pump out about 50hp. its about 3,000 cheaper than the dinan, you get the high flow cats and pipes all the way back to your own mufflers. the dinan only give 26hp without the throttle bodies.(so they say). im wondering if anyone has some solid proof. sounds pretty good.

I beleive board member M5powered has the Hamann headers and is pleased with their performance. You may want to pm him. I have also heard that G Power makes the headers for less then Hamann. Hope this helps you out.

I installed their entire system in my Z8, which is headers, cats, xpipe, mufflers and ECU tuning. Initially I gained about 40 hp (33 rw) and a lot of sound. I am still messing around with the ECU. I like their system alot. It is modular and very solid. You can look at it searching on this board, or go to bmwz8.us, technical, engine, exhaust system and have a look. I believe the M5 and Z8 systems are very similar. Mpowered5 also has the headers.
