Caramel. Reminds me of a baseball glove, almost. Quite a bit softer, though!

All I have to do now is figure out the control glyphs.

i.e. Vents:
| = Open
0 = Closed

Crazy Germans!

kcole;
congrats & enjoy

Per chance, might you be related to any Coles in Michigan? My brother-in-law might be related to you.

Re the control symbols, once you learn them, they make sense. The vents for example are like a PC that uses 1 (binary for on) and 0 (binary for off). My favorites are the cruise resume ( a speedo with an arrow) and the tire pressure monitor calibrate button (a cross section of a tire with an emergency triangle in it).

No relatives in Michigan that I'm aware of, but it's a large extended family, so who knows?

I can get used to the control glyphs, but I'll never understand the thinking behind the nav controls. Scrolling the screen by twisting a dial to tab to the right arrow "button", press it some, then scroll to another button and repeat. Try that while driving! Hmm... I wonder if I can pay an installer to transfer the nav from a Lexus?

I could live with these nits, even if the only thing I got to keep from the M5 was the sound of the engine! <-- tears of joy

The break-in period is officially over (at least the 1200 mile), and the 1200 mile service is complete, so I've started opening her up a bit at a time. OK, maybe more that just a bit.

Now, to plan the mods...
