        Post 1st Anniversary

Well, this weekend marked one complete year of ownership with the M5. I have used the car as a daily driver and, after 20,722 blissful miles, the stupid grin on my face is still there!

        ALX,

Happy Anniversary!!! I firmly believe that the best way to enjoy a performance car is to drive it, and you're obviously doing that!

        Way to go!!!

        What are your color/interior/options?

        Take care....

Happy Anniversary! What present are going to give your car? How about a wash/wax, some loving words, and a spirited drive under the moonlit sky to remember the first time you laid eyes on each other.

Thanks guys! I have a Titanium silver, black extended leather, no PDC, no rear shade, with folding rear seats M5. I had actually asked for the aluminum trim, but ended up with the darker wood (I forget the name).

As for what I'm going to do to celebrate... I have the car scheduled for a day at the "spa." It will have an interior detailing, an exterior detailing, an oil and filter change and lots of road time (assuming the weather is good).

I'm also considering tinting the windows, but with a very light tint. As for the rest, the car is strictly stock, but I'm also thinkging about changing the exhaust system to something that will give the beast a bigger roar.

As for you new guys, all I can say is each day with the M is better than the last.

        Enjoy!

        Congratulations on your first anniversary.

It's very satisfying to hear that both of you are still very much in love.

I wish you both many more years of bliss.

        Regards,

        M5-Bear,

During the winter, and depending on the weather, I wash her at least 3 times a week. Come spring "she'll" be getting a new set of Prada...I mean Pilot sports. And lastly, every 3,000 to 4,000 miles she gets an oil and filter change; since I've had the oil changed so regularly, she hasn't demanded any extra (I keep two quarts in the trunk just in case ).

Everytime I get behind the wheel is like the first time...the law of diminishing returns just doesn't apply to the M5 experience!

        Damn I love my car!
