I just clayed some of my car with a Mother's bar. The finish feels so good! A fantastic step in your car care regimen - (wash really well first.) Don't know whether this blue one is the same or not.

Does anyone know where you can buy Mother's clay bars without having to buy the package with the detaul spray and all the other B.S. ? I have 4 bottles of detail spray!

        Greg,

Pep Boys has Mothers Clay Bar along with Mothers other products. I think it is sold individually. They also carry a couple other brands of clay bar.

I am using Mother's clay for years. Some other clays add an abrasives to the mix which I am not crazy about. I'll stick to brand name such as Mother's and Zaino, as both say on their website that their clay doesn't contain abrasives..

        1CoolVC-

Clay is an "abrasive". To be defined as a clay the individual particle sizes are less than a US 200 sieve size. Sorry but I forget what the US sieve opening size is. I'll look it up when I go to work Monday. Very small particles though.
