I understand that a few things were changed with the engine, the piston rings, oil requirements etc. Does this effect the output of our engines. With better seals and thinner oil to run through would it make the basic internal drag less?? I would imagine that the 2001 with M-bass option, and other 2001 items would be several lbs heavier. With every thing being equal(driver, traction, etc. ) would the 2000 be faster than the 2001?????
