Interesting mix of automobiles you have! Don't expect the same price/performance gains from M5 add ons. There are some super charged M5s in the works but no turbo kits so far. Besides with a turbo, you'd loose that smooth build of low RPM torque. To answer your questions:
1. The BMW factory synthetic goes up to 15,000 between changes. You'll use a quart every 2000-3000 miles anyways (more on early 2000 built engines). Some guys change it "in-between the lights" at 7500 miles as well.
2. Can't really answer that since mine is still stock but the big names are Dinan & RMS. Lots of companies do chips & exhausts. The best bang for the buck is apparently the Dinan 3.45 rear end.
