Increased airflow....DO I need a software upgrade?

Gang:

What are your thoughts................

I have stock airboxes, K&N filters and tonight I routed 3in tubing from "Nowak Style" inlets up front to the boxes. Now the car can breath much better.

But do I need to have the Dinan software installed to better take advantage of this airflow?

What do you think?

Your stock computer will adjust to the new/different air flow. You don't have to get a software upgrade for this modification.

What kind of hose did you run from the ducts to the airbox? Where does it enter the air box?

Chris, when you remove the bumper to install the air ducts you can see the air horns that lead to the factory airboxes.I hooked up 3 inch flexible hoses from home depot rite to those air horns. I did have to cut those air horns a little to make everything jive, but it works great. Good luck!

That is what I did

Unfortunatly I cut the hose a bit short otherwise it would have hooked up directly to the "intakes". As they sit ny they are right behind it soithe effect is almost the same.

I am going to tak it out and run it now to see how it does.

I never understood this nowack air duct thing... it seems that most people have the airducts or sink drains where the brake duct is supposed to be... shouldn't you guys be opening up the area next to the foglight instead?
