Great Dealer Service Dept.

I read a number of post where people have trouble w/ their dealer's service department, I have found an exception. I live in Dallas, Tx and have had terrible luck with the 2 local dealers. On a friend's recomendation i decided to drive the 40 minutes to Ft. Worth to try Autobahn's service department. They are great. Very knowledgeable and fully honor the warranty. I am very picky and they have met all my expectations. Hope this is helpful to the metroplex members.

Hi H,

I too, live in Dallas and while I have never worked with John Roberts, I've bought and had many cars serviced at Classic BMW with no complaints whatsoever. May I ask what happened at Classic to sour your experience? I can put you in contact with the top Service Advisor and Master Tech who I know will take care of you and your car. My entire family uses them with the same positive response. Might just save that 40 minute drive to the town of the cow - unless you enjoy it!

Take care,

DWP

I brought in a 535i to have a water pump replaced that Classic had put in 6 months prior. The SA tried to tell me my radiator was bad and that he could get me a deal on it for $1700. Didn't sound right so I decided to wait on having it replaced. Five years later the "bad" radiator was still fine. It is probably not fair to paint the whole dealership with one bad experience, but it hacked me off. If you are getting treated right I would keep going there b/c the trip to the land of cow is long and dusty.

I have use Moritz in Arlington and have not had any bad experiences with them. I also have a friend at work that uses Classic and has said positive things about them.

I have neve had any service problems with Roberts, Classic or Moritz. It's on the sales side that Roberts and Classic s@*k!! I got my M5 from Moritz and have it serviced there eventhough its a good 45min run from the house with no traffic. My service advisor is Richard Fincher and he is awesome!

01 TiSilver/Black - stock is all you need!
