News Of The 1:18 Model You Have All Waited For!

As a MINI "S" owner and collector of scale models .
I contacted Gateway global otherwise known as "Autoart"

As to when the much delayed MINI "S" models will be delivered.
I also asked if they had plans for specific models coming up
especially BMW models.

THIS IS OFFICIAL:

In the near future Autoart will be bringing out a 1:18 scale
of the BMW M5

Not the E60 model but the current E39 model.
Apparently they say that there is much demand for the BMW M5
and with AA bringing out some older BMW models it makes
perfect sense. This will happen in 2003 they say.
As for color and dealer variations I cannot say But surely BMW AG will want a share of the pie as well as AA.

So you can all get excited and spread the news
THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER....

Scott.

Thanks for the good news, Scott.

If someone tries to order a 2003 1:1 M5 and misses the deadline, they can always buy solace with a 2003 1:18 M5 in their favorite color for a fraction of the price.

That's good news, Scott. I remember reading about your posts in the MINI forum regarding the Cooper S models. Do you know if the Cooper S model is available already?

I liase a lot with mad4models on the MINI2 forum on what info
I receive regarding the models of the new MINI Cooper "S".

But here is the info I have so far.

Early next month the first official 1:87 models will be released.

In Oct. there will be 2 variations of the MINI Cooper S in dark silv.
and electric blue these are by Revell they are 1:18 scale.

In Nov. Autoart finally release their 1:18 and 1:43 scale
Cooper S in Electric blue.

In Nov also we will apparently see the official dealer lines of the S by Kyosho 1:18 and Minichamps 1:43. 3 1:18 models and 4
1:43 scale models will apparently be available.

But apparently what the BMW accessories team say is that all of
BMW 's 2003 product line will be available in miniature form .
including Rolls -Royce ( There is a Maybach!) and no doubt
E 60.

I have MINI S pictures in 1:87 scale if anyone would like them posted.

Scott.

What color would you like the 1:18 BMW M5 to be?

I would go for Carbon Black and Silverstone

Anybody else want to comment ?

What color would you prefer?

Please leave your thoughts

Scott.

When I see it I'll believe it.

The clunky 7 series scale model has been out for months now.

What's wrong with that picture?
