E-mail to Lonman from BMW UK, M3 CSL

Thank you for registering your interest in the M3 CSL through your preferred
BMW Dealer. By receiving your details, it will allow us to contact you
directly via e-mail with any information about the car.

At the beginning of July, a select number of journalists from around the
world were invited to help celebrate 30 years of BMW M GmbH by attending an
M3 driving experience event at the Nurburgring in Germany. Part of this
event gave them the opportunity to drive a prototype of the M3 CSL.

We are delighted to be able to confirm that at the event, it was announced
that the M3 CSL will be produced in very limited numbers starting in 2003.

We have attached the official press release which we hope you find
interesting:

<>
Please note that at this stage no other details have been released, so we
are not in a position to confirm any other details about the car or its
production, and are unlikely to be able to do so before approximately
November/December this year. As a result, please note that your preferred
dealer or ourselves will not be able to confirm any details until that time.

Finally, please be aware that because of the limited numbers of cars that
will be built, your preferred dealer will not yet be in a position to
confirm whether your enquiry will be fulfilled.

Thank you for your continued interest in BMW and the M3 CSL, and we will
keep you up to date with any further information once it is released.

Regards
