California car cover company, Superweave and weathershield cover

I am entering this information so it will be available when others use the search function to investigate a car cover.

California car cover recommended the Superweave car cover for the M5, telling me that they build each one. What I found out is that they are just an expensive reseller of car covers, and the same cover can be found under the real name of Weathershield much cheaper (e.g. autoanything.com). In fact this website appears to carry all the Cal Car Cover products under their real name at a lower price.

First impression of the cover. Very lightweight, feels like silk which also makes it slippery to handle on the car. The design of the cover makes it low to the ground, hiding the make of the car very well.

touchless car cover

I am considering a Touchless Car Cover - I am told they will be around $ 249.00. I just learned about it while attending the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours show

TOUCHLESS CAR COVER - link to website - www.touchlesscarcover.com

More details can be found here - We will be testing the final prototype in two weeks. In addition, we have found some interesting parts for outdoor attachment that we are testing too. This will be a very exciting product.

so in post #2, you're considering one, and were told they were $249, but now it's 'we' which would imply you're involved in the company? Sounds kind of like a spam/commercial post, pulling up a thread from 2002.

+1 Plus, how did the OP get his hands on the "prototype" and review it? Looking more like spam.
