Wait, I don't understand. This company buys thrust arms, presses out the bushings and then installs their own?

So, are the thrust arms OE BMW or are the bushings? Why would they press out a perfectly good bushing out of an OE arm and then install "their own" bushing? The concern with non-OEM thrust arms are not necessarily, or should I say, sole concern; the quality of the ball joint is also a critical element.

If I am to understand, this company buys non-OE or even non-OEM thrust arms and then installs an OEM bushing. Is that correct?

I believe he means that the seller buys OE BMW thrust arms (with OE bushings installed) and then installs their own bushing in the OE thrust arm. Which leaves them with a new OE BMW bushing set to get rid of.

Of course there is the pervasive misuse of "OEM" when they it should be "OE" (as Intrepid correctly reinterprets)

pet peeve of mine...
