Saying Good Bye to my E39 M

Guys,

I've been with you all since 2005 and you all provided me so much advice and tips. I'm selling my 03 M5 today and picking up a 2010 GTR.

By far the best car I've owned. My weirdest post had to be when someone stole my brake lights lol. But you all helped me.

Only thing I have left is winter tires and wheels (vredestien tires and black M6 style wheels) which are those black ones. I haven't decided on price yet so PM me if interested. ( I'll post in the classifieds also)

Anyway, simply thanks, you all have been great.

Sad day but a 2010 GTR means you're doing things right and moving up. Maybe one day you'll come accross another E39 and pick it up.

Congratulations! That is quite a switch. Not my cup of tea, but most definitely one the biggest performance values out there.

Congrats bro! 2010 GTR eh? Not too shabby. Got my a%& handed to me by one of things a couple of months back goofing around. It was not a race. Those things just grip and go..don't even mention the transmission. I called the driver a bully afterwards..he laughed..lol...need to give Raza or ESS a call, then I'll make him frown the next time. Those GTRs are freaking fast...stock. Enjoy her!

GTR's are badass all-wheel-drive machines. Please post a few photos soon & I'm sorry you could not keep them both...

Someone will be happy to own your e39 M5 as it seems like a well kept car. I think a lot of us can understand moving on at some point due to the age of the car and in some cases, the maintenance to upkeep an older vehicle.

I have a buddy that got a GTR and while its an amazing car, he frequently says at the end of the day "It still feels like a Nissan...".
But im sure the performance aspect of the car will wow the pants off your body.

When I get into a friends new Lexus LS, while its very plush and comfortable, it just doesnt feel like a solid build. I get the same in some Jaguars and Benz. This is why I cant justify letting go at the moment. Im looking to buy an econo box for the baby hauler and continue to drive the M5 with a grin on my face.

I wish I could have a GTR to play with. Update this thread with pictures and such!
