Happy Birthday to me! New to me 2001 e39 M5

Completed the deal today.

Its up near San Francisco. The car was represented as exceptional mechanical condition, confirmed by my driving it. Had my mechanic do a very thorough PPI on it and discovered some suspension and other issues I'll have him take care of before delivery to me (meaning he'll turn it over to me when repairs are done).

Stock 2001 except cat back Eisenmann exhaust. Cosmetically very good condition. Aluminum interior trim. Well documented. I can't wait to drive it down from SF to LA...Hwy 1 for sure.

Exactly what I was looking for.

Very nice, congrats! I like silver and black best. Found a black one with low mileage first and snagged it.

beautiful car. Throw a matte set of kidney grills on there and a matte slimms finned diffuser and she perfect.

It needs new kidneys so I was considering matte ones. Not sure I want to stray from OEM yet. I definitely wanted to paint the rear bottom of the bumper black. Dont need a diffuser though.
