Muffler Identification and Sale

Ok here I have some mufflers I pulled off of my M5 to go with the straight pipes mod. Yes that is the resonator sitting in the back ground as well. I was wondering if any of you all knew who made this muffler. I took it to two different shops to have it removed and the techs there couldn't help and all they both said was that "These muffler's ain't cheap...". There are no labels, brands, or markings on them and the dirt on them is just from sitting in my garage. They have a very throaty rumble when installed (with the resonator still on). They sound damn good but I needed louder for my tastes. They are for sale if anyone is interested.

Also for sale:

Sound deadening (hood)
Resonator

Any help would be greatly appreciated... TIA

The man who expects nothing is never disappointed. However, the man who expects what he wants and gets it generally isn't disappointed either.

Those look just like mine and it has been driving me nuts trying to figure out what they are. I just Googled Billy-Boat for the E39 M5 and they appear to have round tips, not the flat sided oval like these. I love the sound too, but want something louder.

Edit: upon further searching, I think you may be right, I wonder if there were oval and round tips available or something. I see conflicting pics.

The construction of the tips and of the backbox looks just like the Billy Boats. Notice the inset face of the backbox, just like the BBs.

I'lll never pronounce them right in my head. They will always be Billy Goats

Looks like the billy boat. I believe they came with two styles of tips.

Also, any reason you took it off?

Nothing is wrong with them. They are great, got lots of compliments on them but I wanted a louder more visceral sound so I went with muffler and resonator delete. Don't want to start this old thread again but once I took em off felt like a low end horsepower decrease but increase in the upper bands. Just by seat of the pants of course...
