Can M5 use 530i trunk floor?

Title pretty much says it all: Can I buy an E39 530i trunk floor (the gray folding piece with foam underneath) and use it in my E39 M5?

If so, is it simply a matter of pulling the old one out and placing the new one? Is it secured at all? I haven't been able to figure it out looking at mine.

Reason I'm asking: My current folding floor is separating from the foam underneath, and I have a bead on a decent 530i trunk floor.

Thanks!

Crickets...

I've decided that since the part appears to be $300+, I'm going to use spray adhesive to reacquaint the top layer with the foam layer.

in overall shape yes
but according to this diagram... no

the 530i looks like it has a larger piece since it carried a spare tire, while the M5 has smaller pieces since it has the battery underneath

530i
RealOEM.com * BMW E39 530i Trunk trim panel

item #1

M5
RealOEM.com * BMW E39 M5 Trunk trim panel

item #15

bmw is not that dumb, if they have a part that is used across many models they will charge you the same price

i.e.
item #15 for the 530i/item #13 for the M5:
51478159480

can always try trimming the floor off the 530i
