Compression Tester ?!?!

I searched on the forum and the internet and couldn't really find the answer / item. What is a recommended compression tester and where do I get it?

I actually moved back to MN, due to job situation (or lack of them) and family etc etc...

I would have LOVED to help with it though, congrats on the E39 M5, I still love mine as much as I did the first day I got it!

No wonder I hadn't heard from you in a while. I am happy that you seem to be doing okay, but sorry that the SLO thing did not work out. Keep your head up man! I still talk about our crazy 1 AM driver - side by side at cruise speed on the 101. It was like a dual generation BMW commercial.
