Rust/maintenance on a 2003 in S.E.A

I'm super happy my M5 is finally, safely, with me in Bangkok. I bought it totally unseen from the UK, although it had been inspected and a report emailed to me. So I knew about the rust spot on the bonnet and by the fuel cap filler but NOT on the trunk/boot and under the rear light clusters!

And though the water temperature remained rock solid during a spirited test drive in the UK, here in hot and humid Bangkok it rises when booting it and goes back to normal when driving in traffic.

The tracking was also totally messed up. Keeping the steering wheel straight made the car wander very quickly over to the right. I'm guessing this happened sometime during it's transit.

Oh, and i got a puncture.

It's been a good 2 weeks!

Cooling system parts have been ordered; new cap, radiator and water pump. It had a new thermostat last year. They are currently stuck at customs.

KDS alignment has been done.

And now the car is in the bodyshop, I really wanted a full respray but know that whilst in Bangkok it's definitely going to pick up some more bumps and scratches. I'll wait till just before I leave Thailand before doing that.

Here's the rust:
