Agree that FB is probably the best, but we could escalate this sticky to a site-wide announcement.

Paul - I posted a link to this thread on M5Post.com to spread the word. I hope the woman is doing better.

Additionally, how are you doing? It's an incredibly traumatic scene you came across. I hope your handling it OK. Stay strong brother, you have support from your M5 friends.

Thank god for you...

Absolutely sickening that we live in the same world where a person would leave another for dead...

Paul-

Have you heard anything about her condition or if the police have found any information about the incident?

Thank goodness you happened upon this person....
You would'nt leave an animal by the side of the road much less a human being.....they should turn themselves in to salvage what shred of decency they may have left....if they don't turn themselves in....HANG 'EM!
I will say this though....7 lakes drive is NOT secluded or desolate during the summer months....there are always cyclists, joggers, hikers, campers in the area...and at that hour it is still broad daylight!!!...how that person did not see her is beyond me...
fact is though LOTS LOTS of "car guys" "motorsyclists"drive that area for "spirited" runs....that area is not really a "cut-through"...

First of all, thank you and thank you again for the support guys. I spoke to a detective and was told she is awake!!!!!! She has sustained brain damage, but the brain is rewiring itself, so i am being told. As far as me, I'm doing ok I guess, it was very difficult accept the fact that someone left her to simply die!!!! I am disappointed with how the police handled the situation. They never blocked the exits to check on cars for broken glass, dented fender, anything at all. I would think there would be some dents at least! I provided a statement to the detective in writing and they are asking me to come again because things are unclear. This is unacceptable !!!! Memory fades quickly and they should have done proper work from the get go!*

I hope they find them.
