What are your DSP settings?

For those who are still using DSP in their M5's, i was curious what your settings are.

I'm trying to find the best settings to suit me and i would like to try different ones.
Some of you might say "just fiddle around and use the one you like the best". True, but i'd prefer to try other people's tried and tested settings to see if it suits the music i listen to better.
For your information most of the music i listen to is hip hop and r&b.

These are the current settings in my car which were there when i purchased it.

PS: I have the Nokia subwoofers.

Thanks guys.

That will get you to 'flat'. Adjust to preference from there.

I'm happy with a notepad doc if it contains accurate information...

I did actually use those settings, was happy with the way it sounded, limited as it was... then I ripped out the entire system and went to a Dynavin D99, aftermarket speakers/amps.

Yeah? Did you start with the standard "Premium" sound system (with the two Nokia subs)? Did you replace those two subs?

Yeah, not M-Audio.

Ended up going with Hybrid Audio Clarus 6.5 and Legatia Pro L1 up front, Legatia L4 (for fill) in the rear deck and used the tweets that came with the Clarus in the rear doors. Hung a sub box under the deck in the trunk behind the strut bar, 10". Speakers and sub are run off a JL Audio HD 900/5.

What is DSP Dimi? Aren't you going to upgrade the headunit to the 02' 03' models?

Yes, i'd like to do that in the next few months (September most likely).
I'll probably get a Dynavin one if i can't get a factory widescreen.

Did you upgrade yours to the widescreen one mate?

I have changed my DSP setting several times but they always go back to default as soon as I shut my car off.

Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong.

I usually dont listen to any music (any radio/cd/talk) while driving the car but every now and then I MAY turn the radio on just for a change.

Once you set your DSP levels the selector will be on "Memo" Hold down the dial knob on "Memo" until it blinks. And it will store that DSP setting as default for when you start your car
