I think it's time to let her go....

I think it's time to let our M move on to another owner to enjoy. I've had 3.5 years of enjoying her but just don't drive her enough. She runs great with no issues but has had a front and rear bumper replaced. Should be up for sale in a couple weeks after a smog and detail. This forum has been a great resource for information. take care all and good luck and keep it safe.

That's a shame. Three years of ownership seems a bit short compared to most M5 owners.

What was it about the car that you weren't happy about?

I am also curious as to why you don't drive the M5 as much. Do you prefer the Benz over the M?

Not much really. I expected the repair costs. Basically if there was a problem, it was fixed. It's basically sorted out now. No problems and she's running well. She currently has 74k miles. I just don't drive it enough and it occupies a space in our garage. We have 2 medium dogs and I really don't like to let them ride in the M cuz the fur removal can be quite daunting. My wife drives the SL. We actually sold the X5 and I picked up an Audi S4 Avant wagon as a replacement. Not as fast as the M but I need something that can carry cargo which the m really can't. We sold the X5 as it was really a money pit. When it ran well, it was fine. But, it seems like something went wrong every 2 weeks.
