Losing some OnBoard computer settings

I seem to be losing some settings on the OnBoard computer. With the engine running, I set the computer to full screen, Color option 2 (the orange color), and memo on. But once I turn the engine off and lock the car with the remote, I come back in about 30 minutes and the full screen has change back to split screen, color has gone back to blue, but memo is still set on.

I've tried doing this with both keys, but the settings just won't stick. However, if I came back in 2 minutes instead of 30 minutes, the setting will stay.

Has anybody experienced the same problem? This is a brand new M5 which I took delivery of 3 days ago. Does the software need to be updated?

Thanks.

I would think that you would have the latest version of software. Do you know what version you have?

Go to MENU->SETTINGS. The version should be on the right corner. I think the most current version is 3/1-50

The software version I have is 3-1/50. So I guess its the latest one.

The settings only seem to disappear whenever it prompts me to Accept the initial Warning message. It I shut everything down and get back into the car quickly enough, it won't prompt me with a warning and the settings stay.

Very weird.
