Need to meet a Beast in the Atlanta area

Hello all. I've been lurking, reading, and observing the forums for quite some time and after ALOT of thought I have narrowed the choice of my new DD to an M and another car we'll discuss later. A little background info on me: I've owned many, many cars during my short lifetime, and have always loved rare, quirky, sleeper cars (I drove an Awd turbo Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 to HS). I've loved the e39 since the first time I saw one in 2000........I was only TEN then. Ever since then it has been in my mind to have one and being me it had to be an m5. Fast forward 12 years I am now ready to start looking for one seriously. Here is my issue. Aside from all the sightings, and youtube videos I've never had a chance to really spend some time with a beast.

So here is my plea to my fellow M enthusiasts. To whoever steps up and allows me to look at, take me for a ride, and shoot the wind with me about cars this Sunday ill pick up the tab for lunch of your choice. I just know once I get around a clean M5 it will make me that much more ready to pull the trigger. Please also don't assume my age for ignorance as I am a tech, car nut and not average when it comes to a younger person looking for a chariot. Thanks in advance. P.S I have owned M cars before Im not here to complain about maintenance cost or any of that because I know it comes with the territory.

I suggest you go to Caffeine and Octane in north Atlanta. It's the first Sunday every month, so it's coming up this weekend. There will be several M5 owners on this board who will be there.

You can check mine out anytime, it's not exactly stock but you can see the potential in a modified one. Just let me know ahead of time so I can bring it to work.

We'll, I live in the Alpharetta area and although I don't have a supercharged super ride I have a couple of very light mods. If you want a ride in something that will be very similar to stock just let me know. I'd be happy to meet up on the weekend tell you all about the in's and out's. Maybe take you out for a safe spirited drive if your up to it. Amazing fun cars to drive.

^ Knowing me it'll make me want to to it alot faster. The car will get supercharged but that would be the very last thing. I will get up With both of you guys as my day off is tomorrow. Only issue I'm dealing with now is go for a lower mileage car with a lack of history or a higher mileage car so I can just budget in all the stuff I will be fixing and know it's done because i did it. That and what color looks best with the Carmel interior.
