Anyone with road rashed Pre facelight lights need a cheap tidy(not polishing) **look**

Seems the market at the moment is great if your after a new set of headlights will angel eyes and all the bells and whistles.

But say you have a facelift vehicle and want to keep those lights, or just dont fancy buying aftermarket ones because they either look poor or worried about reliability.....or maybe like me your just cheap!

Anyway since my car has done 107k my headlights were looking a bit tired, loads of deep scratches and some mold inside that id never be able to get out.

Came across a company on ebay selling a set of new headlight covers for £85....thought oooo bargain thats a nice cheap way of renewing the front without taking away the OEM look, so i waited until they came back into stock.

Just by luck i spent some time browsing Amazon to see if there was any on there and come across these:

FK-Automotive Front indicator fit for BMW 5 Ser (Typ E39) Yr. 95-00: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike

As you can see they are DEPO covers but for £30 for the pair its got to be worth a go.

So i ordered them from germany on monday night and they arrived in the UK on thursday morning.

Fitting was exactly the same as OEM ones and it definetly looks alot better and apart from the slightly darker tinted indicators(you can choose OEM colour instead) you would never know.

Here is a few pictures to show you them fitted.

Last one shows tyre fitment aswell

So my recommondation is if you fancy a cheap way of cleaning up your front end this is a cheap and quick option

They look fantastic. Nice.

Do you have the link for the "un-smoked" OEM versions? I can't find it. I'm going to order some!
