Lol.. I like your style Sailor...

91 octane, I drove like I was driving miss daisy, I have never put techron in my tank. My numbers were real close by the way. Hmmm

Yes you numbers are too close you likely would have passed if you had of beat the ***** on the way to the shop and made them test right then.
I need to see the whole report some pieces are missing IIRC from other Cali reports I have seen.
The report looks good your other numbers looked promising. I bet you would pass with a 40 mile run in 4th gear at 3500-4000 RPM then straight to the shop. That said good time to clean up the inside. Throw some techron in the next tank while you are on that tank do a 40 mile run at 4000 rpm this really cleans the cats out. When you finish that tank just put in a 1/3 tank of 89 octane and head for a new test. Get the cats good and hot by running high rpm getting there not full throttle jumps just keep the revs up.Remember you have crap gas in your car so nothing crazy. After the test fill up with the highest octane and you should be good to go.

Now I see the whole picture how old are your post cat O2s? you have no NO which means there could be some more air around which would react with your extra HC to become water. But you do have O2 at the tail pipe so probably you are just babying her to much. Hard to say but I am positive the first advice will squeek you thru

Thanks again x100 for the help sailor, to recap follow instructions above that should work, however you think my post cats may be do? I have most of the service records and nowhere can I see any of my O2 sensors replaced??

Edit. I do baby her a lot. I like getting into the throttle here and there but I don't do it to often as I feel like I'm killing her......I guess I should drive her like she's meant to be driven?

I tried 'guaranteed to pass', lower octane, driving super hard to get the cats hot, etc, etc... all had some impact, but still fail. New O2s, new plugs...still fail

When I finally diagnosed the real cause, it passed easily.

As I said before, a qualified mechanic looking at how the engine is reacting would be a plan after you make sure the obvious stuff is good

Well I'm going up to my friends shop next Saturday, he's an indy and has every scanner the dealers have. My car is not a daily driver but I think I will drive it this week and try a retest for the heck of it as I get a free retest. I'm going to do the retest after I follow sailors suggestions, pass or fail I'm still going my buddy's to see what's going on!

I drove my car to town today, which I normally don't do as it is my weekend car. Anyway I had an hour to kill and realized I was pretty close to the place I got my car smoged at, I decided what the heck and drove my car around real hard for a while then to the smog place.I changed nothing!! Same tank of gas even!! My numbers were less than half, and I passed!!
Heres the new print out! I can't believe it!!
