DIY: RHD Car- Power Steering Pipe Replacement Steering Box To Pump

Hi All,
My car is a RHD version, and has a seeping pipe between the power steering box, and the pump. On the RHD car this is a long pipe which goes all the way round the front of the engine and then up to the steering box, behind a thin heatshield.
The banjo bolt on the steering box looks pretty inaccessible, and i wondered if anyone had done this before, and if so, did you manage it with normal spanners? I can't see the mountings for the little heat shield, if this was removed i imagine the job would be much easier.

I just replaced my return pipe going from the cooling outlet to the steering box.

The bolt holding in the steering box end is a 22mm Hex bolt.

See the 2 images below for how I released it......kind of a pain in the *** to get to.

Remember there are 2 crush washers on either side of the hose end going into the steering box.....I had to use one hand to place the hex bolt and first washer into the hose and then place the 2nd washer on the underside of the hose......dropped it 2x.....was a lot of fun
