M5 Tops Best Cars in America...

Autoweek just posted their list of Ten Best Cars in America and the 2002 M5; 3 Series and M Coupe made the list. Last but not least, the tenth spot was taken by BMW's Land Range Rover. Congratulations BMW AG!!! The site to see the list is www.carpoint.msn.com then scroll down to Top Ten List to view the categories in which we won.

yet again M5 takes the cake. If there were trophies awarded to the M5 for all these competitions, it would take a pretty big room to fit all of them in

Besides the performance numbers, which are tops, I'm absolutely amazed by the beauty of the car, which I'm sure, is not part of the selection criteria.

The picture above says it all, the line, the proportions, the details..... (this is after I own one). IMHO, I don't think there's ever been, and there may never be, a more georgous sedan on the road.

That makes it doubly sad seeing what BMW has coming down the pike in the looks department.

Did you guys look at the percentage of votes the M5 got? It has over 31% of the votes!!!! That is tewice what the M3 had. Goes to show that the M5 is a great car and will be a classic as the years pass.
