Got mine through the group buy. Anyone have any advice or tips on installation?

In the group buy thread there was an explanation of how to pull off the front bumper to get to the grills. I'm not sure how we'll mount them once we get that far, but superglue, duct tape and zip ties will probably be a good start :-) (jk)

I ordered as well. I really hope there is some installation insight. As I said multiple times it was more important to me to get M5 specific instal directions than save $15. I hope there is more to come.

Calling Atomic80....

I would imagine **hint** that Jason would digitally document his own installation process, and give to us one of his world-class write-ups!! Being that he is the picture-hosting AND electronic gadget Guru, we'd expect nothing less!

Is it working yet, Jason?

Actually, I'm waiting until next week before having mine installed by a professional audio shop that I trust (innovative audio) which is just around the corner from me. Reason for that is because I want to have them put in the new trim at the same time too.

I defer myself from being an electronics gadget guru this time around. Hey, wait a minute, I was never a guru on that! I'm just an innocent bystander I tell ya.

To remove the front bumper you'll need a 5T torx screw for the two bolts under the middle section of the bumper.

Okay, okay. So I made up the part about electronics gadget Guru!

BUT, you're still the reigning champion picture poster extraordinnaire, right? Any chance you could snap a few pix of your professional install??

Can you tell I'm grasping for straws here? Seriously, any insight you might provide would be most appreciated.

TIA!
-Dave
