If you're in this thread you've already most likely given up in the "holier than thou" E34 cult of M5-dom, so why not put in an S62 into an even lighter car?

Mechanically that is a no-brainer as its based on the M60...standalones in abundance (right Neel?) or get a reflash for streetability.

Just a thought.... (as I progress on S62 into E36 cheap way)
I get you mate but here is the thing,i want the S85 but im not at all interested in the body of the E60 or the M6,i think the E39 is the most beautiful body to roll off BMW's production line,thats why i want the S85 in it,now that Raikku is also interested in the same swap i guess it will become a reality!

@Raikku,The pleasure is all mine,i will update you when i have carried out the checks you recommended,when are you coming to Africa,my beast needs to be checked by someone who knows this engine!
