Sounds absolutely amazing, i can only dream of doing a trip like that, it won't happen all the time i'm married !!!!!
As others have said make sure you take plenty of breaks,stay safe, thats a lot of miles, takes me about 2 yrs to do 3300 miles in my M5 ! Look forward to the day to day reports and pic's.

Lee, any idea of the dates you're going to the 'Ring? I have to go to Brno at the end of July, and am tempted to drive rather than fly, depending on work... Could hook up on the way there or back if the dates work - at least I've done a few laps so might be able to give you some guidance
Oh, and your fuel budget might be a bit light? I drove to Portimao and back, driving like Miss Daisy was in the back, and covered 3000 miles but used 800 Euros in fuel. I strongly suspect I could have used double that driving properly, but I was paranoid about getting nicked so only had a couple of quick bits. I know when I took the old one around the 'Ring the computer said I was getting 8mpg. So about 2 imperial gallons a lap...

Knowing me I won't be Miss Daisy'ing it! But I would rather be expecting £1200 and spend £800 if you know what I mean. I agree, comp says 8mpg on every track I've been to, didn't someone work out that's the lowest it can possibly go..?
I'll be in the M5 with a couple of colleagues and a bootful of camera gear. There on the Gix in September for 3 days of bikes only tomfoolery immediately after the SBK round
You're there the weekend before SBK at Brno so I'll see if I can get away from here earlier than usual in which case I can meet you on the way...
