You are going to love it, just be safe on the roads! The M5 simply devours tarmac with absolutely no effort whatsoever, its going to be a perfect as soon as you enter Germany

Well I would love to say she is gaining a charger of the super variety, but for my budget I'd get a hair dryer!

She is getting a major overhaul tho;

Chain guides
Tensioners
Vanos chains
Most gaskets engine wise

I think that's it! Raikku may be able to help out here, he said so many things I lost count! All this in a short week!

I wish I could call bologna on this...alas I can't. I have an English friend who comes to visit every year or so and it's fish in a barrel over here for him. Truly an unfair advantage. But hey, if I could talk like a dirty sailor and have it sound like Shakespeare I think I would take full advantage

That will certainly be a great trip Lee. You and London are making me jealous. I did a 6000 mile road trip across the entire US and back with a few good friends two summer's ago and it was probably the best experience of my life. Too bad it was in a civic

Ha ha ha that proper made me laugh like a drain! Funny stuff.

Honestly a lot is said about these cars and everyone has their own perfect car or whatever, but you only have to watch the trips they do on Top Gear to know it really doesn't matter what you do it in, it's the journey not the driving that is the real reward. Aside from the Ring and Spa where it's mostly about the driving. It's still about the experience rather than the vehicle you're doing it in tho.

Sounds like an awesome road trip. I'd love to do a major trip like this but really can't afford it! However, I'm off to the Nurburgring with a load of the boys in 3 or 4 weeks now :-) Will be awesome. I'll have to make sure I get some decent pictures and video of that as well. Wish I could extend the trip to match yours!
