This might take some time for people to think about. Seems like a win to me, truly don't see the downside. It would take some time, but some things would happen fast, I imagine. The simple stuff like maybe AA code, memory for sport button hopefully a less dramatic DSC. Who knows I am just speculating and hoping.

Fixed.
If that's you Wayne I hope you choke on a chode.

I mean..
The values for our M5's would increase in value after so many go kaboom from people looking for a bargain tune that don't have the money for a new engine right?
Maybe its not so bad..

You want to be the first to try one of my no guarantee home brewed tunes? I'll send you one and tell me what happens. I'll tell you my secret...early detonation to get horsepower faster...that's how I interpreted the open-source dev kit instructions at least.

Caveat Emptor my friends!

Besides...anyone really want PC showing you "how to properly tune"???

If Sal was wanting to open the kimono that would be a different story...but to be honest...Evolve does not hide what they do either...Sal has answered every question I have ever had...even when I did not want to hear what he said.

So I guess I'm an Evolve pundit...I'm ok with that

It would be pretty easy to prove otherwise and even easier to disavow it in this thread. Members who are (supposedly) local to him have offered to meet up. To this point OP has done nothing but validate the theories.

+1.
Never mind the tuning - what about just understanding what brings in a CPS or VANOS solenoid code for example?

This board has spent the last 12 years GUESSING what these codes mean, yet I can lay out $100 for a GM service manual that explains each code in excruciating detail. Bring it on.
