It's a a mere 500 mile trip for me and having a 400 mile round trip to do on Saturday will probbaly rule it out. But never say never, I may wake up on Sunday morning feeling a little mad!

The weather is supposed to be cloudy, which will do.

Yes, there are average speed cameras in the road works between junctions 10 and 9 (A3 to Leatherhead) and there is a live camera on a gantry just the other side of Leatherhead - there are a few that look different to the rest and have extra camera heads...

Plus I'm advised that Surrey Police are running some new unmarked cars. Not sure what yet as I only got the tip this morning.

Keep your eyes open, mate

CRAP I can't make it. Circumstances have changed dramatically and I'm having to move out of my flat urgently, with Sunday being the only day I can really do it. I was really looking forward to meeting some of you guys. Guess that just means we'll have to make sure we get on the Santa Pod plan eh!

Santa pod is a no go their communication and info is simply awful. It's as if they don't want the money. Then when you speak to the actual person organising it all she's all apologetic and interested. Get stuffed. Lydden might be plausible but it's a lot of organisation again and not enough people get interested in it to make it worth it usually...
