Why does everyone hate the cup holders so much? Haha
I don't mind them. They work for me.

I really hate (hopefully far, far away in the future) there comes a day that I have to say good bye to my beast and there will be no replacement for him anymore.
Face the fact, the e39 M5 will be much harder to find and also spare parts will start causing issues.

Same here. They work fine using small cans, cups and bottles. In some countries, the cups are just way too large.

As someone who admired her from afar and finally bought one 3 months ago...

1/2 gear is tricky when cold...I baby it until it's up to temp, then it's fine.
Cupholder's suck, but hey, have you ever seen Europeans drink coffee in the car?
American highways, they just aren't the Autobahn.
The learning curve...my other cars have always been Japanese, I knew them well, they were much simpler.

The M gives me goose bumps sometimes.
I think I will buy another one, just in case...

That sounds like a different thread, "name something that you don't like about your wife"

It involves a couch, humility, and a box of tissue!

What's not to love about these cars? They are a true automobile enthusiast's dream and when I mean enthusiast, I don't mean someone who just likes cars and enjoys driving them but the type who likes to get their hands dirty every now and then!
