HotRod vs. World Champion Floyd Mayweather Race

It must have been my day to see 2 "celebrities" cars today!! First, PhillyM5's car, and now a romp with WBF/WBA Champion Floyd Mayweather, who was driving a very slick, and beautiful MB CL600!! A friend and I were just minding our own business doing about 40 on a 2-lane street, and I saw a jet-black blur in my right side mirror. I saw him pull up right beside me, give me and my Beast one of those "condescending" looks, and then accelerated briskly away from me! My friend looked at me and asked me if i saw the look he gave me. I said yeah WTF!! So, i tried to get right behind him, but this big-*** Ford Excursion cut me off, and was tailgating the Benz like crazy!! So, we went for a mile or so, in heavy traffic, the Benz, me, and the Excursion. I saw an opening, and ripped right by the Excursion, and was right on the Benz' ***! We played a little, as I knew I could take him whenever he wanted to go. I pulled even going about 60 (in a 35MPH) and returned the look! We ended up at the red light side by side, but not first in line. I told him nice car, and he said it was his daily driver, to which I replied "me too". He gave it another look-over, and we then parted ways....

It was then that I realized that it was Floyd Mayweather!! He is from Grand Rapids, and his parents still live here. The license plate frame said Las Vegas on it, and the Excursion that was trying to stay between me and the Benz was his bodyguards!! There were 3 guys in the truck, and they didn't take too kindly to me messing with him, I'm sure! He seemed pretty arrogant, but after I realized who it was, all I can wonder is what he was thinking as I sat next to him, and tried to strike up a conversation, without ever saying "Hey, aren't you Floyd Mayweather??"

He was probably thinking something along the lines of "What do these crackers in the budget BMW think they are doing?"!!

I wonder what the entourage would have done to us if we said anything stupid to him!!

Pretty cool encounter though!!

Wow, you had an eventful day. What the bodyguard would have done to you?, hell, I would be more worried what Floyd would do to you . Nice to see you showed him what the M5 can do. Sort of like him for the car arena; pound for pound the best car on the market.
