Iv been on here a while, picked up some useful hints etc along the way, so decided to share a few pics of my car and how it stands now.
Full spec is as follows:
Evolve 4-1 headers
Supersprint Magnum rear boxes
BC Racing RM coilovers
Stoptech 6 pots on the front
Stoptech 4 pots on the rear

Car is a money pit, but i love it! the noise is awesome!
ill get some proper pics one day that arnt taken on my iphone....
You have a very nice car there. I absolutely love LM:s..simply the best wheel money can buy for the E39 M5!!
i really like the std wheels however when fitting the stop tech 4 pots on the rear i had to run a 10mm spacer to clear, the tyres then scrubbed and the handling wasn't to good so the only wheel i could find which looked as good/better than OEM was the LM.
2001 E39 M5 : Silverstone Blue, 19" Breyton Spirits (horribly rashed...), black kidney grilles (one broken...), black and white badging (fading fast...), Philips Silverline Indicator Bulbs, Alpine KCA-420i (in a box in the house) and Xmas-pressie iPod Classic (just need Intravee II now...), otherwise standard (but who knows...)
"I look at it like this. Owning an M5 is kind of like dating a slamming hot big-t...ed blonde, who is a pain in the *****, drains your cash, but screws like there's no tomorrow. Owning a Honda Civic or the like, is akin to dating a girl who is fat, ugly, smells a bit where she shouldn't, is a cheap date and doesn't screw at all (you don't mind). So yeah, I'll take the blonde." (Courtsey of Jetpilot718)
