Original is smouldering in a wastebin somewhere in Aldershot, I think.

Yes, getting a duplicate first would have been a really good idea, but unfortunately it's nine months too late.

Nine months. That means there's only three months to go! Woohoo!

I've been trying to hold off in work to see if the 11th May is a goer and unfortunately its not good for me. I'll still try and get the day off in the interim if anything crops up, but for now you'd be better off treating me as a "No" for more accurate numbers. Sorry guys

I will speak to her tomorrow as I couldn't take her call today. I will get some definite dates and stuff, hopefully some details will be finalised.

Well guys got talking to the event organizer again and she is going to look into a lot of options for me. She says the best way she thinks to go forward on this, is to first of all invite yoo all along to what they call a Peak Performance Day. Entry is £10 and £50-60 for the runs. Drift area is extra. Basically she can sell me a block of tickets to sell on, or we can all book seperately and turn up on the day, but however we do it I should be able to get us an area on our own, plus I may be able to get the drift area to ourseleves as well. This will have to be organised seperately as not everyone wants to do it.

Maximum tickets sold for this event is 100 to maximize track time. The last one apparently only 54 turned up and 50 of those were a group booking!

Bike are also welcome on the day (Simon )

This way I don't have to worry about organising as many people, losing out on a lot of money if it comes to the worst, and I haven't got to worry over who's coming and who isn't. So let me know what you think. If it all goes well then it will make it easier to organise something next time as people will no doubt recommend it and it should gain popularity.

Dates available for this option are

Friday 22nd June 2012 (too close?)
Friday 13th July 2012 (I'm away!)
Friday 17th August 2012 (Sounds good)
Sunday 2nd September 2012 (Sounds good)

If this gains any interest I'll start another thread in the appropriate section, european forum.

Sounds a good plan. I've been to a few of those kind of days (albeit not one of these exact ones) and they're often not that busy. Plus mixing with a few different cars is always interesting. I'd be up for burning up your tyres for you on the drift section Lee, charitable chap that I am!

I'm in Germany 10th-13th May, but otherwise I think I can make all those dates.

August works for me and I'll have my licence back as well

September I'm at the Nurburgring on my bike then covering SBK. Tough gig but someone has to do it...

YG

PS I have 4 style 66 17" wheels with ebony tyres on them that I'll have to use for drifting. They should work, right?
