Will check my available dates tomorrow when i get my work laptop fired up as that has all the info i need for booking time away from work, also need to check with the Mrs as she works away a lot (at least 1 or 2 days a week) and i have to be around to look after the kids when she's working away.

Have you not heard of Santa Pod? I'd be surprised if you hadn't. It's a quarter mile drag strip that sees people from all around Europe battle it out every year, as well as loads of other BMW Fests and the like. It's a great venue. It also has a drift area which will be set up for us and it's all for us to use as we wish for around 120.
