views on 2001 rear clear (white-out) facelift lights

I received clear (white-out) rear 2001 facelift lights for my beast from bekkers last night. i had no idea when i ordered them that white-outs were an option and i would not have ordered them. now that i have them i am trying to decide if i should install them or send them back for the normal red/white 2001 rear lights. therefore, i taking an opinion poll--should i keep them or sent them back. please look at the picture in 1coolvc's thread on "2001 rear light facelift (but lift?)" of the hella whiteouts before expressing your views.

thanks

Steve,

You already know my answer

to each his own

If you do get them on, I'd like to see some pics of it. Its different then seeing the lights w/o the car.

Sorry, but I hate them--looks like a cheap Honda add-on. I probably feel this way due to seeing this stuff on lowered Hondas with ratty sounding exhausts.

But should you decide to put them on, I'd love to see the pics.

I would love to see a picture of the red/black on a dark car - might look stealthy?? I have LeMans with all dark trim and am not crazy about the white turn indicators.

I agree with Phillip - it looks like a Japanese add on that you see on many of the "riced out" Civics, Accords, etc.

It's all up to you, but I'd send them back

You guys probably already know where I stand on this one?... the white outs are strictly for "rice burners"!

Hope I did not offend anyone with a Japanese car?....

The M5 is way too exotic and elegant to have these on it... IMHO!

I agree with OAK, too boy-racer like
but check out these black out turn signal as
alternatives, for something different and stealthy (especailly on black M5)

Oh no! PLEASE do not ruin the M5 with those clear lens. I've seen them on Honda's and Acura's. They look awful.
