I know several of you already have this mod done, so I decided it was time to join the club...IMHO a good 10 minute mod as I had to take my license plate off too for clearance.
Got these from BMWLED.net. They are a company from El Cajon, CA. $27.99 shipped to Colorado (3 business days). No error lights on the OBC so far. We will see in a year or so if it was good money spent. I kept my originals (of course). 24 LEDs per side. They are bright, but not overkill. You guys decide.

I had issues removing the housing and ended up breaking mine.. I got very impatient and just cracked the damn thing. Ended up ordering the WeissLicht Xenon White Led housing and its nice.
A broken housing is something that came already fitted to mine for free when I got the car
Someone clearly hasn't known how to remove the housing to change the bulb and bent the metal too. Need to get the various bootlid issues sorted (big rust spots around the number plate screw mount holes) and I'll be up for some of these.

"I look at it like this. Owning an M5 is kind of like dating a slamming hot big-t...ed blonde, who is a pain in the *****, drains your cash, but screws like there's no tomorrow. Owning a Honda Civic or the like, is akin to dating a girl who is fat, ugly, smells a bit where she shouldn't, is a cheap date and doesn't screw at all (you don't mind). So yeah, I'll take the blonde." (Courtsey of Jetpilot718)
